One of the three movies that came out on thanksgiving week was “Robin Hood”. The cast of the movie may seem out of the ordinary for some people, but the cast for this movie works well with the story of Robin Hood. This movie may be PG-13 but it contains a lot of action and violence,  not gory enough to make it an R-rated movie. If you thought that this movie looked good in the trailers, wait until you see it.

This story goes deep within how Robin of Loxley became Robin Hood. This movie starts off peaceful with Robin and his beloved until he becomes stationed in the army. The events after, contain interesting twists and turns which create the person we come to know as Robin Hood.

This movie was not liked by critics it was given a 12% on rotten tomatoes and a 6.9/10 on IMDB. But the majority of regular movie goers liked this movie. It seems a lot of movies these days are hated by critics and loved by the people or vice versa. Remember “Baby Driver”? Yeah that was a bad movie but it was liked by critics. Don’t let the bad reviews of this movie determine whether you watch it or not. Figure it out for yourself. I would give this movie an 8/10 for being a good movie but for also being a quiet one too. So I’ll give a warning to those who like to eat chips or open their candy bags during the movie, those bags and crunching will be loud due to so many scenes in the movie where there is no music to drown out your crunching. Anyway, I recommend this movie to anyone who hasn’t seen it yet and are planning a trip to the theatre with their friends or family.
