Anthony Davis is a one in a million player. He’s having one of the best seasons in his career putting up outrageous stats. He’s averaging 29 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and a ridiculous 3 blocks a game. These stats are adding up for him to be a possible MVP. The problem is that no one has won an MVP on a team that wasn’t in the top 6 teams in their respective conference. This is why he has requested a trade from the New Orleans Pelicans. His only request is to be traded a playoff contender. This news sent teams scrambling to propose offers to get Anthony Davis.

The teams with the biggest chances of landing Anthony Davis are the Toronto Raptors, San Antonio Spurs, New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, and Chicago Bulls. All of these teams have a legit change of actually getting this star player… But the Lakers have the biggest odds of actually obtaining Anthony Davis, because he publicly announced that he wanted to go to the Lakers. This has happened before with All-Stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. They publicly announced that they want to go to specific teams in the off-season but they got traded to completely different ones. So to all the other teams that aren’t the Lakers and actually do trade for Anthony Davis they will need to show Anthony davis that they can actually build a winning team around him.

Anthony Davis is an amazing player and it’s a shame to see his amazing talent wasted on a horrible team. The best possible thing for him is to get out of there as soon as possible. Anthony Davis is one of if not the best center in the league and the most important thing to him is his legacy. The only way he can do this is by playing on a playoff contender.
