The teaser announcement trailer for Borderlands 3 came out on April 1st. And the next day at the PAX East Conference the real Borderlands 3 trailer dropped and excited tons of fans such as myself. Borderlands 3 has been teased since all the way back in 2015 at the PAX South Convention. Based upon the trailer it looks as if we’ll be seeing several returning characters. Such as Mad Moxxi, Tiny Tina, Mordecai, Brick , Maya, Marcus, Zero, Lilith, Ellie, Sir Hammerlock, Claptrap, and Rhys from tales of the Borderlands.

Along with the returning characters there are new characters and villains. The four new vault hunters are Amara, Zane, Fl4k, and Moze and they will be fighting the Calypso twins along side the past vault hunters and their friends. There is also a lot of new stuff being added from guns to new enemy types. We will be exploring places other than Pandora like we usually do. Gearbox says we are going to be visiting different planets and environments.

A few other things to note are the voice actor for claptrap has left the studio and so has a few of the original writers. Although that happened it hasn’t stopped the production of Borderlands 3 at all. Gearbox has 90% of its staff working on Borderlands 3 and it is now available for pre-order. The three pre-order packages range from $80-$120. There is an ultimate edition worth $250.
